The Organisation

As a National supplier and distributor of products to the automotive and RV industries, Thetford is looking to continue its growth locally by focusing their channel activity and bring on board an experienced professional into the sales ranks of their business.

The Role

An exciting sales opportunity has become available for a Sales Executive to service Australia’s Northern region (QLD/NSW/NT.) As a key part of the sales team, you will have autonomy to deliver sales outcomes within your assigned customer base and channels (both distribution and OEM customers). You will be armed with a strong brand, a great reputation in the market and you will utilise this to forge long term business within your customer base.

Skills Required

As an experienced sales professional you will have a high level of resilience and be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Strong relationship and account management skills with a customer focused approach
  • Strong business development skills and able to win new key customer accounts
  • Experience selling to Caravan Manufacturers and Retail customers
  • Smart & inquisitive and be able to find new sales opportunities in existing customers
  • Strong attention to detail and able to report new opportunities to leadership

Experience needed

  • Experience selling products to  RV Retail & OE customers
  • Able to maintain a customer call cycle and travel as required to see customers (QLD/NSW/NT)
  • Customer focused and able to add value to an existing customer base
  • Able to develop new business and customer opportunities
  • Great attitude and be able to attend industry shows and events.

Reporting to the Sales Manager based in Melbourne you will be given the support and guidance needed to be successful in your role. The right attitude and a willingness to work to solid sales outcomes will be key to success with this organisation.
