Let’s Go Caravan & Camping will replace the existing ‘Experience Caravanning and Camping’ slogan, including:
Let’s Go Caravan & Camping will be heavily promoted through 2015 to generate both interest in our sector, and activity through industry businesses and state association consumer shows.
Sunrise weather presenter Edwina Bartholomew will visit five locations in four states over the week highlighting the fun places, people and activities, which a caravanning and camping holiday can provide.
This is one example of how valuable industry contributions are used to provide leveraged marketing returns for the industry as a whole.

The Victorian Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow will celebrate the move to their new home, the Melbourne Showgrounds with CIL Insurance returning as the major show sponsor in 2015.
Announcing the new sponsorship, CEO of the Caravan Industry Association Victoria, (CIA VIC), Rob Lucas, said he was delighted that CIL Insurance had returned to team up with the event to showcase the very best outdoor exhibition space in the state.
“CIL Insurance and the Caravan Industry Association Victoria can trace their relationship back over 50 years. Having CIL Insurance back on board as our major show sponsor is like welcoming an old friend back home”.
Ivan Owide, Executive Manager for CIL Distribution said he was very excited to come on board as the major sponsor for the Victorian Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow in 2015, especially as it makes its big move to Melbourne Showgrounds.
“CIL Insurance has a long-standing and profound relationship with the Australian caravan industry having first insured caravan’s way back in 1962. With over 100,000 caravans now insured with CIL Insurance, the new partnership is a perfect fit for Australia’s biggest outdoors show”.
This announcement is fantastic news for patrons too, with CIL Travel Saver Card holders able to take advantage of 2-for-1 tickets on the Wednesday, Thursday and Monday of the Supershow.
Peter May, President of CIA VIC, said it is great to have such an established supporter of the industry sponsoring the 2015 Supershow.

The Victorian Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow in 2015 takes place from the 11th to the 16th of February at Melbourne Showgrounds.

The Victorian Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow celebrated its 60th birthday last year and what a fantastic show it was with record crowds and much to see and do.
Next year (2015) it’s moving from Caulfield Racecourse to a new home at Melbourne Showgrounds from February 11th to 16th.
CIA VIC Chief Executive Officer, Rob Lucas says the move marks the dawn of a new era for Australia’s biggest outdoors show, with even more of the latest and greatest caravans, camping gear and outdoors accessories on display than was previously possible. The new venue has 18,000 square metres more exhibiting space than the previous venue, truly making the 2015 Supershow the biggest yet.
“Melbourne Showgrounds is just a magnificent facility and we will be able to grow even further, but more than that we will be able to give the patrons coming through the gates a much better experience. There will be more technical seminars and more activities, it’s going to be something quite special”.
The additional space will also enhance the show experience for patrons with extra food outlets and rest areas, an abundance of entertainment, product demonstrations and seminars at the Supershow. There will be something to enjoy for every member of the family with fantastic prizes to be won, free show bags, fishing, the Yamaha Supertank, cooking demonstrations and much more. For the kids, Tammy the Tent and Corey the Caravan from the Caravanning Explorer’s Club will provide plenty of fun and amusement.
