The Caravan Industry Association Victoria (CIA VIC) is pleased to announce that the State Minister for Tourism & Major Events, the Hon. John Eren, will open the Victorian Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow at Melbourne Showgrounds on Wednesday 24th February 2016.
“We are pleased to have the support of the Minister in what will be another great show promoting our industry products and tourism destinations in Victoria and Australia,” said Rob Lucas, CEO of CIA VIC.
“The Minister’s support for our industry comes at a time when Victoria’s love affair with our industry’s products continues to be very strong,” continues Mr. Lucas.
Over 85 per cent of Australians RV products are manufactured in Victoria, the industry contributes $1.4 billion to the state economy and employs more than 5000 people. The Victorian Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow is the showcase of the best products this industry has to offer.
“The show has grown to over 60,000 square metres of exhibition space and with over 350 exhibitors, a revamped seminar program and lots of things for children to do, the 2016 Supershow will have something for everyone,” added Mr. Lucas.
