BIG4 Deniliquin has secured another award, and received esteemed Hall of Fame status by achieving three gold wins in a row, due to winning the Caravan & Holiday Parks category at the prestigious NSW Tourism Awards Ceremony held on Thursday 24 November 2016.
Owners Frank and Lynda White together with Bruce and Glenys Catto are incredibly pleased with the honour of being recognised for excellence in tourism for their holiday park in Deniliquin in the NSW Riverina region.
“We have an incredibly hard working team, who go above and beyond in every situation they are faced, and we’re proud to say that due to our forward thinking, resilience and adaptability, they provide the best possible holiday experience for our guests.” Frank said.
BIG4 Deniliquin are no strangers to winning awards. In 2015 they were awarded Gold at the Australian Tourism Awards, and in 2014 were inducted into the Inland Tourism Hall of Fame. To date there are over 10 trophies proudly on display at the holiday park.
As teenagers, back in the 1980’s, Frank and Lynda holidayed in the park every summer enjoying their passion of water skiing. Over the years, they saw the potential of the dirt based site with a few old caravans and tents and in 2001 became the proud owners.
Working together, Frank and Lynda invested many hours of hard work into their dream until the park emerged into the hallmark destination it is today helping put the small town of Deniliquin and the Riverina region on the radar.
